Mull & Iona Piping Society

The neighbouring isles of Mull and Iona lie off the west coast of Scotland and are two of the islands forming the Inner Hebrides. They share an incredibly strong piping heritage - and can boast a piping school on both Mull and its smaller neighbour - Ulva, second only to the MacCrimmon\'s of Skye. The MacArthur school of piping provided hereditary pipers to the MacDonald\'s - Lords of the Isles and to local clan chiefs. Mull and its immediate islands\' main clans are Maclean of Duart, Maclaine of Lochbuie, Macquarie, MacGillivray, MacDonald and MacDougall.
